You may not know David Lloyd but he has a huge influence on all our lives, so we thought it was time you met.

David is Chairman of Herts Police Authority and as such he sets both the Force's budget and strategy.   When appointed he pledged to "work hard to ensure that the police become even more responsive to the needs of their communities whether that is through robust tackling of anti-social behaviour or increased targeting of drivers who speed in dangerous locations".   David is also the Prospective Conservative candidate for the new post of Police Commissioner.

In addition David is Deputy Leader of Herts County Council and Executive Member for Resources and Economic Well-Being with responsibility for proposing and monitoring the budget.
