Smoothing Your Path in Hitchin

Following an initiative by Derrick Ashley, Hitchin Councillors are looking at ways to improve the surface of the cobbles in the Market Place and Churchyard. “We are looking at smoothing out the   surface with a special compound that will retain the granite effect but make it much easier to walk on” Derrick said.
