Decisions by the Conservative led District Council have brought closer Harpenden Town Council's plans to put redundant land adjacent to Westfield Recreation Group to good social use by providing new affordable and social housing and potentially a new base for Harpenden Mencap.
Harpenden Town Council has been listening to the concerns of local businesses and now new parking arrangements are being trialled in an attempt to encourage trade.
