St George's School in Harpenden was named Comprehensive School of the Year by the Sunday Times. This comes as the school leapt over twenty places up the league tables to become the 88th best state secondary in the country and became the 4th highest ranking school with a non-selective intake.

This morning Bim met with the Chair of the Office for Road and Rail (ORR), Professor Stephen Glister. The ORR acts as the rail regulator. He is soon due to publish his final report into the reasons for the timetable disaster of this summer.

Harpenden branch hosted Andrew Bowie, MP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine, at their annual Harpenden Supper. Andrew was the first of the 2017 intake to become a PPS, serving in the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
