Conservative District Council Candidate for Hitchin Highbury
It is an honour to have been selected as the candidate for Hitchin Highbury.
I have grown up in this lovely town and have lived in Highbury for over 20 years. Now, as a parent of a school going child, I have the opportunity to see this wonderful part of Hitchin through a fresh perspective.
I currently serve on the board of trustees for the Dorothy Wells Strings Foundation, which provides subsidised music lessons to children at Benslow Music School. I have also recently had the privilege to join the board of trustees for the Hitchin British Schools Museum, another wonderful asset to our town.
It has been a very tough period for everyone during this pandemic. Through my interaction within our community, it seems people are disengaged with local politics and they have issues they would like to see raised. However, they either do not know who to raise them with or, even worse, believe their concerns will not be listened to. I hope to be a bridge between communities and reassure residents that they do matter.
I look forward to speaking to many of you in the coming weeks/months, to see what we can do best for Highbury. In the meantime, if you would like to have a chat, please contact me on the details provided.
