Conservative District Council Candidate for Hitchin Oughton
About Steven
Oughton, including Westmill has been sadly neglected by its elected District Councillors for many years now. Broken promises, like the promise to remove the “Brown Bin” charge, and others, are the hallmark of a failed Council.
I am honoured to be the Conservative candidate to serve this community. I have been involved with local Council work for many years, and I consult regularly with David Barnard, your County Councillor, who is working to improve the roads, and most importantly, we are working together to introduce 20mph speed limits for this area where appropriate.
I am passionate about improving the quality of life in our District, and I will campaign to improve refuse collections, upgrade the support to our Community Centre, encourage child and youth support, and work with the authorities to wipe out anti-social behaviour, which includes littering, and speeding along our streets. A vote for me is a vote for action!
Please vote for me to improve our area. Together, we can make a difference.
