There are lots of ways in which you can get involved.
Being a member of Hitchin & Harpenden Conservative Association means that you have joined the most open and democratic political party in Britain. After the first three months of your membership, you will be entitled to a vote in Party ballots. You will also have a chance to influence Party policy by letting us know your views through the Conservative Policy Forum.
Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals. There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
Membership fees, donations and fundraising initiatives pay for campaigns which win elections so please give us your support for without it we cannot remain a strong Association able to support David Cameron in his ambitions to make this a country of which we can once again be proud and to support Peter Lilley and our local concillors to deliver Conservative policies locally.

250 Club - In addition to membership of the Association, members and supporters are invited to join the 250 Club which is run in conjunction with North East Herts Conservative Association. Membership enables you to participate in the twice yearly big prize draws for a 1st Prize of £1,000, 2nd Prize of £500, 3rd Prize of £250 etc. as well as weekly prizes of £35.. In addition you, and a guest, are invited to attend two parties a year in some of the most delightful houses in Hertfordshire. The annual subscription is £75.00 and all the details are on the attached brochure.
Hitchin & Harpenden Business Club - This very successful Club was founded by Peter Lilley to bring together business people, active or retired, who live, work or have connections within the constituency. The Club provides a link between the worlds of business and politics; helps Peter keep in close touch with local businesses and represent them in Westminster; creates a forum in which local business people can meet and exchange views and brings top flight speakers from business and politics to Hitchin and Harpenden.
There are up to four meetings a year with prominent speakers at luncheons as well as the less formal boardroom get-togethers when Peter likes to discuss the problems of the day with local business people. Business Club members are also invited to a number of the Association's even

Portcullis Club - Members of The Portcullis Club and their Guests are invited to join Peter Lilley for dinner with a top flight speaker twice a year. The venue is The Carlton Club where dinners are intimate and guests have the ear of both Peter Lilley and the speakers.
